Cheng`s Gourmet in Suffield

PLEASE step up customer service & food quality.I've been going (and my family) to this place since the previous owners. Years & years. I'd say this Chinese is Eh, just ok. I've recently tried Chinese just over the Enfield/Suffield bridge & another place in Enfield & sadly it was loads better than here. I'd much rather stay close & in town so I am kinda forced to buy from here. If you can drive over bridge I would recommend that. This place is kinda expensive & I'd rather spend my money on quality & drive a little ways. Really wish the owners would just step it up a bit. Customer service could also be improved. It wasn't until I ran into owner at Dunkin Donuts that they finialy warmed up to my family. Try another Chinese place & then try this place & you'll understand my 2 star rating.

Have you ever been forced with no other choice but to order the General's Chicken from the food court in the mall? All batter and NO chicken? The mall would have been better than the garage I just picked up from Chengs in the center of Suffield! In fairness, the white rice was fine as were the 3 small peices of broccoli.I rarely eat take out for this reason but figured the discerning people of Suffield would only support quality. I have never been so wrong!

We have going to Cheng's for years. We love to a see a family business doing well in town. One of our favorites is the sauteed green beans.

Kind of "blah" all the way around.The food and service weren't terrible, but they also weren't overly memorable. The only thing that really stood out about the meal, was the crab rangoon looked (and tasted) like they came from the frozen food isle.We may go back... but probably not.

AMAZING NEARBY AREA IF YOU LIKE CHINESE CUISINE OR NOTTHEY EVEN SERVE NEARBY SCHOOLS IN SUFFIELD!

The broccoli in garlic sauce was just Broccoli in MSG sauce, as was the egg foo young. My wife and I shelved the leftovers about 1/4 of the way through in search of water. Our kids, who had only the tinniest amount were bouncing off the walls all night.

Great place. Never tried them before and they do a great job with the sauses. The chicken was crispy and the white rice was sticky and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this place!!!

As an American restaurant, it is good, affordable, and food is average.

Always get my Chinese food here.

My family and I have been eating at this Chinese place for years! Yum. We like the hot and sour soup, mushu pork, and sesame noodles. :)
